one best way to sove this problem, we dump pooja things in water and other waste related to god or death, which we have been following beacuse we were taught to do this, IF ALL THE HEADS OF HINDU MATHS AND TEMPLES, APPEAL PEOPLE NOT TO DO THIS AND TO BE PRACTICAL, I THINK MAJORITY PEOPLE WOULD STOP THROWING WASTE IN WATER...GOVERMENT SHOULD PUT ADVERTSIEMENTS OF RELEIGIOUS HEADS APPELAING NOT TO THROW POOJA WASTES....SEE THE CHANGE. one thing is there in foreign countries they keep it clean

if eat drink dance and be merry culture of europe is going to be promoted in the proposed waterways on ganga, then it is better, it is not done. let local residents of uttarkhand, uttar pradesh, bihar, jharkhand, west bengal decide about the manner in which waterways has to be run on ganga. swadeshi jeevan shaili of bharatwasi '-- should be guiding factor in all activities. english speaking officers who write/spell- ganga as GANGES, should be kept at least 1 km away from this waterways.

Alternate option to clean water from ganga, 1. Make piping system from the nearest point of origin and taking the pipelines throughout the ganga river flow area, small taps - (outflow) at frequent interval so that they can clean water ever last. 2.How the oil companies tranferring oil to shipyard to refineries and Refineries to other cities and towns without leakages. The same system should be adapted for water from ganga to many cities and districts.

Last but not the least connect bramhaputra, ganga, and rivers coming from himalayas to west bengal, bihar, up, hp, j&k, punjab, connect to via canal, via pipe as advised by Dr Abdul Kalam and Mr suresh who is aware of the project under Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee's regime give him this portfoilio immediately to make way for the water flow to Rajasthan, Vidarbha in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Kutch in Gujarat, Andhra pradesh, Tamil Nadu etc regions and see what will happen u will rule for 60yrs think?

Think on the lines i hv mentioned if u want to solve ganga, ayodya issue once and for all. as we keep 5 or 50 km away from the border in the same way keep min. 25 km from the river belt all constructions as trees are to be planted. The only way to solve Ganga issue & Ayodya issue is to allow trees to be grown at all the corners of the lines of rivers flowing as is done in kerala to give a fillip to the corners of the coastal areas, density of the population area which is achievable through local municipal tree plantation drive and lastly for ayodya issue construct temple,mosque and all religion temple at the same place so that all mouths are shut at one time and problem is resolved once for all.
