Indian holocaust under British Raj: 1.8 Billion excess deaths. The ghastly 200 year imposition of British colonialism on India resulted in horrendous human cost of 1.8 billion violent and non-violent avoidable deaths in the period 1757-1947 in India. The avoidable deaths from violence, deprivation and deprivation-exacerbated disease in British India was 1.5 billion. It is 1.8 billion including the Native States. Finance minister should take steps to collect compensation from UK.

The government should try and make expenditure which lead to better development of storage facilities in order to realise the actual revenue from our agricultural produce . a deficit budget with expenditure on investment will result in revenues so the budget should streamline the subsidies as well as investment opportunities so as to benefit from the investment and provide opportunities from the subsidies to the upcoming business ventures

All these years, previous governments did not do any things concrete to these old pensioners. As the population of old people are increasing year after year, they also require better deal, and their right to lead respectful/decent life in their evenings of life. Pensioners with their spouse living with them should be give extra rebate for the added burden to pensioners in that old age. If these are done the entire old age community will not forget the BJP government.

Pensioners/senior citizens need 1.to give tax exemption up to 10 lakhs, 2.Separate clause should be brought in IT for Pensioner, 3.Thiose who are above 60 years to be taxed at 10%,47yers & above at 5% tax irrespective of amount. 4.Income from bank and PO deposits are from already taxed hard earned money & hence shoul not be added as Income of that year, 5.The benefits given to Handicapped persons(special category)should be extended to Pensioners as most of them are unfit even to move about.

Pensions sector, ( senior citizens), re most neglected sector before the eyes of Central Govt. The pare paid half or 1/3 of their salary and run their evenings of their life with their Sr.citizen wife, in utter deficit of funds. Thy are generally abandoned by their wards, not cared by society, and State Govt., pretend to do some thing. However, because are brought under salaried sector they are also burdened with heavy IT taxation. Giving pittance of benefits will not solve their problems.

1) Pension for private sector employees should be increased as they are getting only Rs 1500 which is less than ordinary old age pensioners (Rs 1000 for wife and husband each). 2) Research scholars (particularly science) should be given space in the union budget. 3) Budget should be development oriented so that employment opportunities may be created. 4) Budget should given maximum publicity.

Individuals having Salary Income who are already paying Income Tax, net Income in hand should not be taxed again by way of Indirect Tax. If possible, please come up with policy to refund Indirect Tax collected from Individuals if they provide PAN Number. Link Sales / Service tax collected and broaden your tax collection by encouraging individuals to Insist on bill mentioning their own PAN Number for tracking purpose. Best of Luck for any such step if you are already following or planning

When assessment is complete the refund should automatically be transferred to the assessee's account. On late payment of tax Government charge interest @18% where as on late refund interest paid is 9%. Is it not discrimination? The officer delaying the refund should be charged 9% and 9% government should pay. If such penalty imposed on the person responsible to pay possibly the refund will go on time. In department on higher level work is less meetings are more.
