The education system in the 21st century must promote innovation while revamping the traditional educational system. The need for quality improvement in the curriculum and the desire to equip students with 21st century competencies has brought innovation at the core of the educational ecosystem. Hence, school culture that support innovation should be developed and encouraged extensively. The National Education Policy 2020 has a big focus on innovation as a tool for revamping the educational system.

In view of this, CBSE along with the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell has developed guidelines for schools for promotion of Innovation and Entrepreneurial skills in students, titled ‘National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion Policy (NIEPP)’. The policy guides school education systems on various measures that may be adopted to promote a learning environment where creativity, ideation, innovation, problem solving and entrepreneurship skills of students are nurtured, irrespective of their age.

i think a child needs someone to express his or her feelings but most of them had not able to do so. So, i think to make a rule under which a mentality development classes should be given by teachers hired by school and give them a freindly and comfortable zone. you in japan childrens till age 10 have not to worry about exams because according to their government they believe that a child needs to fullfill his or her childhood memories.......

School must acknowledge that without creation of awareness, such a change cannot be achieved. School shall aim to promote Ideation, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (IIE) mindset in school as one of the major objectives while undertaking annual pedagogical planning. To achieve it schools should set up specific objectives with tangible outcomes which are achievable within specific timelines.

Promoting Entrepreneurship and Startups will ensure an unprecedented wave of long-deserved growth, prosperity and wellbeing that can serve the interests of the rest of the world as well as the spirit of New India. Creating a nation of job-creators and not just job-seekers is important for sustainable growth. And central to this, is the need for extensive collaboration between corporate industry, academia, and governments at the village, district, state and central levels.
