All Government transactions should go online. All details required by public should be online. For all these services rendered by Government, a fee should be charged and the amount remitted through online payment. Government can be assured of a regular income through user charges. This amount was previously received by corrupt Government officials and Government peons. Through this procedure corruption will also come an end.

......I think most services could be provided via automated means and successfully with increasing use of domestic credit/debit card services or online bank payments. Alternatively the Gov't could outsource some of these services to the private sector but that would depend on security etc. Otherwise I hope the Gov't runs like any other profit maximizing corp that simply uses the surplus for more public use...like a non-profit does. Of course, the prices it charges should be affordable by us.

Good afternoon; I think it's completely reasonable for the Gov't to charge its citizens fees for providing administrative services - logging fiscal returns, applying for licenses, visas, permits etc. How to price them? I guess that would be a function of volume, overhead costs and some gut feel to what the Gov't feels is reasonable for particular services. Given the size of our population, and the strong scale of the internet with coordination with the Post office..................
