One way to make tourist destinations more friendly is to organize hospitality training sessions for local administration . The trained people should be encouraged to be hospitable and friendly to the visitors. The trainees would include local police personnel, tourism officers, traffic police etc. A well behaved and friendly administration can go a long way in making a tourist welcome and also encourage him or her to visit the destination again, resulting in rise in local revenue.

We need to utilize viral advertisements that is people telling others about that destinations. We need to improve connectivity, basic amenities like toilets. Food store. I have seen tourist being charged wrongly bye local rickshaws drivers that leavs a bad impact in their mind. Information regarding opening and closing hours of that spot. We can have shops selling post cards or guide books about that place and we can place differently abled peoples in that shop.

Stop collecting toll-gate charges. Instead of collecting toll-gate charges, it may be better to set apart 10 paise in the price per litre of petrol and 5 paise per litre of diesel for road works. Toll-gate collection is leading to increasing strife among road users. So collecting the toll in an invisible and painless way may be ideal. This will also avoid delays at the toll-gates.

Some ideas for consideration: 1) Provide public transport information (bus nos., rail – routes and estimated routes), local city maps (with ‘hidden’ attractions) through information centre in airports/ railway or bus stations. 2) Display street name for each and every corner of the city – so people navigate on their own, even without GPS 3) Provide access to clean drinking water and clean toilets at-least near all touristy areas.

Is India an open sewer? In Chennai toilet water is let out by houses into the storm water drains. The government officials who are supposed to enforce rules do not bother about this. This can be seen right in front of our house in Chennai. This must be happening in all our cities. This makes India an open sewer with revolting sights and smells. Such unhealthy atmosphere will make foreign industries run away from India.

To explore the popularity of tourism and incredible places in India ,The India government , our media and social site should have broadcast on television in villages as well as small cites because lots of people from villages and small town didn't get any information about the tourism places in India.so I think our social site , social media and our India government can change the faces of tourism .
