There are two problems. Medical care & Traffic rules. Both accompanied with Stern Violation Charges. A foreigner always hate Lawlessness places. That when they find in the Roads itself is Our great Loss. Some Foreigners would not like to be near Super hospitals. Both for the sight of ailing patients / disturbance caused - But for their benefits. Where then roads Must be kept Spic&span. They may need Security at Holy places. So night-shifts for Rooftop view can be arranged. If that are Secure.

If we market our multi-cultured destinations. A place is bound to get very Dirty. So must Divide by 4/8 parts. The ports must eliminate Local taxis & mini-vans who freely eat pan bidis & Bad public calls. We must keep The-Traffic in mind & Fix suitable spots for Private Hotels & Privatize its Finances. Shops running at Loss be bought / evacuate / replaced. The tourist spots Must be made Traffic friendly if not Free. It must have Bus-Boat access & All Local autos Blocked at any exploitation.

Connect all the tourist destinations with proper roads. Provide better facilities like tourist hostels, guides, basic amenities like toilets, drinking water counters, good local foods and most of all treat tourist like a GOD. If you treat them good, they will forced to come back to see a better INDIA.

I find people wear clothes Bearing pics of places in Thailand. I find mugs with ILuvNY. Why? 1 Must know If There is market for the people. Or the people for Market. Things of daily Wear & tear. Use & Throw all bear Foreign names. I simply fail to find Even a Shirt with a picture of Taj Mahal so common & Usual. Many infamous States have had Propaganda Machines as these. To make railways a better viable transport mechanism open all the train routes from every city to Tirupathi and other religious places. Equip every station in the nearby area with laddu counters if the TTD management agrees and likewise in other cities with their delicacies and ensure the cost to live in a tourist destination comes down drastically and make it competitive and increase the volume of people through better railway, aeroplane, bus,taxi,and auto-rickshaw services.

To get the tourism, the basic concept is to spread the word about awesomeness about the place. 1st question, who will do it? We have a strong IT company base who interacts with all over world daily. create a group of those people their at on site(outside india) and let them spread the word about beautiful places. government has to build a website and make the Indians aware and build a quick response team if any such request comes. lets disucss more in this....

I am regular traveler. Visited most of the Indian Religious, Hill stations, forests etc.. But I found many of them have not known to public. Even governments are not showing interest to develop these places. Some historical places were ruining. If they give publicity and develop roads and transportation India can get a huge amount on Tourism. First of all Ban the Plastic usage in Piligram and Religious places so that we can control the pollution.
