The easiest thing that can be done to make destinations tourist friendly is by prohibiting the activities by unfriendly people, who hail from uncultured segments of society and lack basic etiquette. The people who are providing services at tourist destination should be passed through a exam or training and their information should be available online for complaint and feedback by the tourist. Internet kiosks for information and service providers should be placed all around the tourist places

1. local people (male and female) made available as local guides at best prices. These guides should trained and registered. They should be booked right at the station (booth) or online. This will create job creation as well. 2.Special eves can be organised at such places... like we have "Melas" in villages and such eves should be advertised extensively... this will increase tourism and also good sale of local products

Setup a centralized hospitality call center which can have a common number to address the basic queries that visiting and domestic tourists may have. This call center can also connect a tourist with the nodal officer in the region to provide them assistance. The call center can be funded by the the revenue generated through tourism

Economies like Thailand, Mauritius and several other nations thrive on tourism and the potential of these countries is far less than ours. We are abundantly rich and diversified in tourism and yet we are not even in the top 25 destinations. It is imperative that India must grow as the top tourism destination in the world as no other countries can offer as many different destinations as ours.

We need trains to kumbakonam, Amritsar, Tirupathi, and other places. Right now there is only one train on the shan-e-punjab from Delhi to Amritsar, so please give more trains. Railways will definitely be able to make profit. We will end up spending more than a day and associated costs if we go through Chandigarh from Delhi. Food, accommodation, cost, and other travel is very discouraging in the present scenario. These are religious places so surely there will be healthy attendance.
