We proudly say to the World that People is our strength. If so, why don’t we find out an easiest mechanism so that any common man can inform government bodies about such issues and concerns? Basis the type of information, respective department should be intimated immediately to look into the matter and wherever required, they should take appropriate actions before any mis-happening.Here,I would like to propose a mechanism, which can be improvised further with the help of experts. continued...

If it falls, many people walking around building can die or that may lead to damage of other surrounding public or private property or both. Instead of taking action post damage, it would be better if someone blow the whistle and respective department take an appropriate action immediately to avoid later consequences. Unfortunately, most of us believe that it would be very time consuming process which will affect our daily routine life & therefore many a times just ignore many such observation.

Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, as a citizen of India, most of us would like to contribute in nation building in one or other way. One of such contribution could be information to designated people (Blowing the Whistle) about any disturbance/damage of public property/quality of material used to construct something which is for the interest of public in the locality etc. for example, old building which is in very bad condition and may fall any time. continued in next post....

Indian Govt has several travellers bungalows as well as houses for govt officers in remote areas. These are underused, outdated in amenities and are a legacy of British Raj. Tourists in these areas also suffer from poor quality hotels. Convert Govt resthouses to hotels on PPP basis. Govt officers get modern accommodation. Govt earns revenues. Tourists get reliable hotels to stay in.

Many tourist destinations are prone to natural disasters such as Kedarnath. Set up solar powered satellite phones in all post offices and a few public locations in these places so that tourists and government authorities can call NDRF even if regular phonelines and cell towers are down.

Set up cybercafes in all post offices in tourist destinations. Also use India Post network access to provide wifi on paid basis in the tourist spot. This will enable tourists to stay online at low cost, especially foreign tourists with international roaming. It will also turn the post office into a hangout which can be used to generate incremental revenues for India post e.g. tourists can use India Post to mail mementos that they bought. Mementos can even be retailed at the Post office.
