What is written in policy is irrelevant. Actual situation on ground is absolutely different. Let me take example of what is happening in and around Delhi for last 20 years.
All manufacturing industries, mostly MSME were asked to shift operation to outside Delhi because of rising air pollution level in Delhi. People shifted their factories to Faridabad, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Sonipat, Manesar, Bahadurgarh etc. They had to invest heavily in land, building and other logistics besides taking numerous approvals.
Pollution in Delhi is still not reduced. Now, all industries have been asked to use only clean fuel (PNG) only. Otherwise, they are not permitted to operate. Even DG sets are not allowed. What industries are supposed to do? Shift again outside NCR?
It is a big joke. Some people sitting in NGT who have nothing at stake are playing with business and livelihood of lakhs of people.
Where workers of Delhi will find the jobs?
Can we become Aatmanirbhar with this process?
