The Ministry of Civil Aviation has issued draft rules to ensure ease of using drones in India on the basis of trust, self-certification, and non-intrusive monitoring. The Drone Rules, 2021, once notified, will supersede the UAS Rules, 2021, which came into force on March 12 this year.

The Rules aim to make the process of owning, possessing, exporting, importing, manufacturing, trading, leasing, operating, transferring, or maintaining a drone in India, simpler and hassle-free. For that, the draft rules seek to abolish the requirement of various approvals, ranging from certificate of conformance, certificate of maintenance, import clearance, to student remote pilot licences.

Besides, it proposes the development of drone corridors for cargo deliveries and a drone promotion council to be set up to facilitate a drone-friendly regulatory regime in the country.

It is necessary to have a license to fly the drone at a height above a certain limit. It is necessary to take training to fly a drone. Drone radar systems should also be maked so that we can track it

a good step towards innovation, however this is useless because we can't buy easy and cheap drones (made in china) as the Indian manufacturing is really not there. I believe we need a state run powerful FAB(semiconductor) which then leases it's technology to private Indian players. that's the only way we can get electronics made in India. otherwise, we need a ton of land reforms for the semiconductor industry to flourish.

Dear Sir, Ours is a rich heritage of cultural and Economic management systems in the world. But at present,we are making our major population into idle,inert and useless by giving out freebies,doles and many unwanted incentives. Dear Sir, people are relaxing and wasting away their lives because they are getting to eat and drink without working. Sir, you are spending hard-earned tax money on unproductive assets. I request you to kindly reconsider our policies and give work to all able bodied .
