One of the key priorities of the Government is to provide a non-adversarial and a responsive tax administration with the main objective of creating an environment conducive for achieving higher investments and growth. At the same time the focus is also on ensuring ease of doing business for the taxpayers. For individual taxpayers, Government endeavours to promote voluntary compliance by making compliance easy and reducing the cost of compliance for the taxpayers. These steps are aimed to ultimately result in buoyant revenue collections, reflecting higher growth, leading to higher standard of living and better quality of life for the citizens.

The Department of Revenue invites taxpayers and general public to provide innovative ideas and suggestions on tax policy and administrative issues with the objective of ease of doing business and reducing compliance cost for industries thereby facilitating buoyancy of revenue and increase in investment leading to higher growth.

Dear Sir, Still there are many sales and service transaction happening without bill resulting loss of substantial revenue. Since there is no mechanism to curb it, people are encouraged to do transaction without proper bill to save money, particularly in retail transaction. Even with bill transaction, not sure whether collected tax has been deposited. In many country to encourage people, incentive scheme and color coded tax invoice is implemented for manual trade, we may also do the same

By the help of technology we can easily prepare lists of our tax payers in particular city/reason and can be published on different medium like department web site, every city website, other govt. websites and social media. So that we can appreciate those who deposit their tax on time and honestly and can motivate others to do the same. We can extract number of people who have huge income and less tax payers and the people who knows then can target socially.

Technologically better e-cards system should be provided to customers by banks to take care of fraud. Banks should withdraw swipe e-cards and instead inbuild pic of cardholder & linked to Aadhar card no & PAN no. To begin this system can be extended in metros & in smaller towns at delivery counters where high transactions take place. Govt saves in avoiding printing of higher currency notes, security problems of counterfeit notes & managing black money.

As mentioned earlier also Govt should encourage transactions by credit/debit cards, online or even cheques through banks by extending good discounts to customers. Shopkeepers extends 2-5% discounts to customer willing to pay by cash. Rules to be amended to tax more & more paper work for shopkeepers accepting cash. All corporates should do transactions above certain amt say Rs1000/- only by e-cards or cheques. Govt may consider putting higher currency notes out of circulation in phased manner.

Every businessmen fear of the new law because the system earlier was poor. They were forced to do transactions in black intentionally and unintentionally. With the applicability of new law/policy, they should provide sufficient rebate to penalties so that they can pay them easily and do proper business further as per new policy. Further, for the growth of the country, we should link PAN from direct tax to indirect tax department. The bogus transactions can be traced from it easily.

All PAN Cards, DIN Cards etc must be linked to Aadhar Card. This must be made compulsory. Govt. of India should publish reports on tax payera. Some infographic/ statewise/ city wise/ how many tax payers/ amounts of taxes each city/ age wise/ etc etc..There should be regular updates on the new enrollments of taxpayers. new amounts collected etc etc...These should be like a stick market data populating...!!

In order to encourage "startups & entreprenuership" parents/family could be offered some tax rebates - say once every 3 years. This will help families to encourage their children to explore entrepreneurship. And allows the family to enjoy some financial advantages. Or For Example: All the loan received under Gold Deposit Scheme if invested in a startup or startup fund could be also offered some incentives.
