Hello Sir. I have been following the news on electric vehicle introduction so as to reduce our dependence on oil imports. However, if we continue on the current battery technologies based on lithium ion we will still continue to be dependent on lithium imports. I believe we need to consider developing alternative battery technologies, such as Sodium ion. Sodium per se is abundantly available from common salt. A long term strategy and research is needed to make this happen.

We possess the world’s tallest satue. Soon we’ll have the onus of creating high waste dump fills! The one near Delhi is soon to be taller than the Taj Mahal! Alas, it is not ’a thing of beauty’ spreading joy, instead, it breaths deadly poisons to the surruoundings. The one near Mumbai is a volcano spewing destructive fumes. Kolkata’s outlying waterbodies which are its lungs, are being slowly suffocated. Hon’ble PM, Sir, pray, tell us your take in the catastrphies in the making.
