I have written book for first-time in memory of my late grand uncle kulakkunnath raman menon who was a book publisher of early 1900 in Kerala. He introduced royalties for first time to writers for their books. The book written by me is in Malayalam number of copies are less which is mainly for keeping copies in some library so that people can know his contribution at that time when there was limited facilities . However, the penalty under Section 271DA applies only to the receiver, while the giver of such cash faces no consequence under the same provision.

Even though we have laws in place, justice is often delayed or not delivered at all. The result? Criminals walk free, and victims are left with lifelong trauma. We talk about “Beti Bachao”, but unless strong actions are taken, these words remain just a slogan. In other countries, justice is swift and strict: In countries like Saudi Arabia, rapists face public execution, while Iran enforces death by hanging for such crimes. Indonesia has implemented chemical castration, especially in cases involving child rape, and Bangladesh introduced the death penalty for rape following public outrage. Modi ji, please take bold steps to protect our daughters. India needs fast trials, strict punishments like death or chemical castration, and better support for survivors. Thank you.
