In the latest episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged Indian children to engage with their grandparents and ask them about their life as children: what sports they played, which theatre or cinema they went to, which relatives they visited, festivals they celebrated, and so on.

These stories would not just take the children to India back then, but also be an invaluable treasure for the family, to be cherished forever.

Here’s an opportunity for all children (and adults too), to interview their loved Dada-Dadis, Nana-Nanis or any other elder in the family, like ‘cub reporters’; video record the same; and share with the MyGov family!

i love my dada and dadi, and they aslo love me., but my dada is not live now, i am very sad, but i always love him, he was world best dada.

My very loving daadi used to keep any sweet dish that comes home in our absence for us when we used to go out to naani's place, and would give us as soon as we reach back, sometime it became stale but we cherished it because it was filled with her love for us.

इस बारे में इतना कह सकता हूं कि मैंने अपने दादा को नहीं देखा, और बात दादी की करो तो उन्होंने अपनी जिंदगी में कभी किसी के सामने हाथ नहीं फहराया है ! वह इतनी खुद्दार थी के जिंदगी के 92 वर्ष तक उन्होंने काम किया वह मार्केट में फल बेचा करती थी ! और जब उनकी मृत्यु हुई उनके अंतिम संस्कार में भी उन्हीं का पैसा खर्च हुआ !.

I haven't shared much time period with my grandparents but still there's few beautiful memories with them as they used to take my favour in any decision. The one which I didn't forget. Whenever I went to my village she used to cook my favorite sweet specially for me. As I was most lovable in my siblings for them. And that one story which I used to hear every night from by them under the twinkling stars makes atmosphere feel joyful and more excited. Every morning together we all pray to God....

This is related to my Parents but will share with Grand parents as well.. where he used to tell stories to all of us when we were kids. Whenever we used to go to village, we all sat around fire and he started anchoring stories :) It used to happen in summer time. he is not with us now but he was awesome.. :)
