In the latest episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged Indian children to engage with their grandparents and ask them about their life as children: what sports they played, which theatre or cinema they went to, which relatives they visited, festivals they celebrated, and so on.

These stories would not just take the children to India back then, but also be an invaluable treasure for the family, to be cherished forever.

Here’s an opportunity for all children (and adults too), to interview their loved Dada-Dadis, Nana-Nanis or any other elder in the family, like ‘cub reporters’; video record the same; and share with the MyGov family!

My grandparents were so kind hearted They taught me values norms and good behaviours. I always slept in their lap, My grandfather's stories were very interesting at that time but now it seems like a package of positive thoughts and behaviour really it was valuable Once my grandfather given our whole cooked rice pot to a hungry family He taught me self dependable by teaching me various skills My grandmother was very loving person. taught me to believe in hard work Really I missing them.

Increasing violence against female children, rape and killing and in general volence against female indicates that , Parenting there was an lacuna. Atleast future generation, has to grow with proper parenting, we have to introduce COMPASSION AND EMPATHY in the educational system. Not as a theoretical, syllabus have to be designed in such a way that , COMPASSION AND EMPATHY" in his part of life. The person who grow with proper compassion and empathy, definitely will be a good parent in his life.
