In the latest episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged Indian children to engage with their grandparents and ask them about their life as children: what sports they played, which theatre or cinema they went to, which relatives they visited, festivals they celebrated, and so on.

These stories would not just take the children to India back then, but also be an invaluable treasure for the family, to be cherished forever.

Here’s an opportunity for all children (and adults too), to interview their loved Dada-Dadis, Nana-Nanis or any other elder in the family, like ‘cub reporters’; video record the same; and share with the MyGov family!

I am fortunate enough to have had long stint with my grandparents! They lived marginally poor life in their younger days approximately during 1960s.My grandfather was RSS pracharak & his 2 younger brothers were RSS karya karatas. My grand father was Jailed during Emergency time imposed by then PM. He was in Jail while his daughters wedding was to took place. So he asked permission to attend daughters wedding which was denied. So Kanya Dan was performed by his elder brother.

When I was a kid my grand father used to tell me stories of king and queen's love affair and I loved to listen them in a intrest. My father never did so. He used to tell me about si-fi. After a few years later when I was 13 I got to know what is a love stories then I asked him to tell more like that and he refused and I don't know the reason why he did so.... And later my dadi asked me about dada's girlfriend and I think you know the reason why he refused to tell me. My best memory. Thankyou.

To talk about my Nana Nani and Dada Dadi is a huge honour for me. Even though I had only one at both the sides , that is, my nani and dadi died even before I was born.. Little and precious of my memories with nana and a loving experience with my dadi.. My dadi is an inspiration for me. She had courage and successfully battled her life with 5 years of bed rest. My Nana was a calm composed man. I have in me the courage to go ahead in life and to remain calm at bad times. ONLY BECAUSE OF THEM 💪🙏

रेलवे में नियम है की हर 5 बर्ष बाद सभी सुपरविजन पोस्ट कर्मचारी बदले जायेगे परन्तु बे बदले नही जाते है जैसे लोको पॉयलट कैटेगरी में लोग एक ही पद पर 10 बर्ष से अधिक से कार्य कर रहे है जिससे भ्राष्टाचार की सम्भावना वड़ जाती है और कुछ लोग तो 15 बर्ष से अधिक से अपने पद लोको पॉयलट पर कार्य नहीं कर रहे हैं और अन्य लोगो को आगे नहीं आने दे रहे है जैसे दिल्ली मंडल

I was doing some services to them like helping house hold works, going to buy veg, groceries, reading news paper etc. I feel, every children should stay with their grandparents or spend sometime with grandparents. It will give confidence to children. Now my grandparents are no more. So I don't have video. But I cherish my memory everyday. Those period is golden time for me. We can learn from their experience, more informations.

This is Swetha. In young age , I was lucky to stay with my grandparents ( Mother side) for 7 years(3rd STDs to 10th std). It is very happy time for me. My grandmother used to teach from her experience. She used to tell me moral stories, about her travel, encourage me to study, appreciates more etc. Generally compare to parents, grandparents close to grand children's. In higher classes , I understand better. I mean while 8th to 10th.

मेरा नाम :- मोहम्मद तहसीन अहमद पिता मो जहर आलम,में अभी 25 साल का हूँ, मेरा garndparents हमेशा लोगों कि हेल्प करते थे,वह एक किसान थे और गाँव में जिन लोगो को खाना समय पर नहीं खापते उन्हें और उनके परिवार को खर्च करने रुपया और अन्न देते थे, बहुत दयालु थे गरीबों का मदद करना उनका कर्तव्य था,मेरा जन्म होने पहले उनका इंतकाल हो गया,जब मेरा जन्म 03/07/1994 को रामनगर जिला पूर्णियां बिहार में हुवा था,जब में 3 साल का था तो मेरा पापा का इन्तेकाल हो गया,और मेरा सपना पूरा नही कर पाया

छोटी सोच व पैरो की मोच कभी आगे बढ़ने नही देती। दुनिया मे सबसे ताकतवर चीज है हमारी सोच ! हम अपनी लाइफ में जैसा सोचते वैसा ही हमारे जीवन मे घटित होता है ।और जो हमारे सोच में घटित ना हो व अचानक हो एक्सीडेंट कहलाता हैं ऒर एक्सीडेंट व चम्तकार बार बार नही होते । सोच हमारी माहौल के परवरिश से तैयार होता है और हमारी सोच का निर्माण कर्ता कौन है हमारे माता-पिता हमारे स्कूल के अध्यापक हमार
