The Municipal Corporation has in its fold A Report on Comprehensive Storm Drainage, Sanitation, Sewage Studies (CDSS). CDSS study shown that it is feasible to have Under Ground Drainage System for Kakinada using pump stations. This Report was prepared by Wilber Smith Associates in the year 2007 and it is time to implement the same immediately as eight years have elapsed with cost over runs. Glad that Kakinada City got the selection under the AMRUT Scheme for the Under Ground Drainage System.
