first thing to do is to appoint doctors and nurses in adequate number so that all P.H.C,B.P.H.C can be run for continuous 24hrs.all NRHM doctors should be permanent ,they should be given service quota in pg entrance exam if they give service in rural area.at present they are treated badly compared to permanent doctors.please consider this issue with sympathy

I think Dr. Harshvardhan is the best option to lead the health ministry. He should be brought back. We need experts of a domain to lead that particular domain. Dr. Harshvardhan being a doctor would better understand the problems ailing our health sector.

suggestions -- (i) declare yog the rashtriya arogya vigyan (ii) rename ministry as ministry of Yog and Health with separate department of Yog, Ayurved and Nature Cure (iii) Yog and ayurved should get at least 50% of allocation, the rest to be divided among allopathy, unani, homeopathy, etc (iv) rename remaining as department of allopathy not as health, as in allopathy, there is neither preventive cure nor cure for any disease (v) thrust of policy should be how to prevent illness not diseases cure

Sir. Why can't we get sponsorship for maintaining the cleanliness of the Govt hospitals. If govt offers some allowances there will be many corporates and many private companies will come forward as caretaker of the govt hospitals. Govt can allow them to make advt in the hospital campus.

General health is to be improved by providing people with good water , improved sanitation and pesticide residue free vegetables etc........ Prevention is better than cure. Local health tradition should also be given equal importance preventing diseases.Suitable insurance policy is to be made available by state to meet the treatment expenses in modern hospitals if needed. Health of the population is the Wealth of the Nation .Modern medicines should be sold under generic name to control price.
