concentrate on education, providing food is not schools's business....nothing much will improve by providing free food in schools...instead think of providing houses on rent for life time to their parents...food will come for them automatically.....

Regular Check up should done of child at school and individually record should be maintain. By keeping Height Weight and immunity power record easily we can find which child growth is slow or stopped. Maximum Rural Indian parents are poor or illiterate so they cant do this. So with help of local PHC and CHC this task can done successfully.

there should be a new department in every shool named BASIC HOSPITAL for the treatment of the students.this department should do several job.
1.they should do some tests of the students admitted to school
2.they should at least have one health class every week in their school teaching how to be clean and keep surrounding clean and the merits of cleanliness and demerits of being dirty.
3.they should do regular inspection of food in shoolXX DEe before being served to children so that no case of food poisoning takes place.
4.they should also have all the basic requirement for the first aid and should be in direct contact to the nearby hospitals.
5.several other jobs can also be included in the department according to the better understanding of several other peoples and government too.
ALL THESE WOULD NOT ONLY BE HELPFUL IN BRINGING HEALTHY SOCIETY BUT ALSO BE HELPFUL IN DEVELOPING A NATION WITH EACH AND EVERY CHILD BEING HEALTHY.

Schools must have basic cleanlineas and hygiene lessons from the nursery classes so that this is inculcated from childhood and the child grows up with cleanliness and hygiene as a principle habit and this in turn will keep the surroundings clean leading to swatch bharat in the future and ultimately to good health.

Focus should be on both physical and mental health.Due to various Govt. Health Initiatives, communicable diseases have been controlled to a large extent but Stress and lifestyle related disorders are on the rise and its alarming that the onset of diabetes and hypertension are occuring at an early age than before beacause of inability to handle stress efficiently.Yoga, meditation, play and importance of healthy Interpersonal relationships should be emphasized as they help us to handle stress.
