Rae Bareli Smart City proposes to invest 1750 Cr in its Area Based Development. Area based development shall be a combination of redevelopment and green field development of 1150 acre of land which include:

REDEVELOPMENT of core (old) city area and surrounding area as walk able, well-connected mixed-use area with public realm.

PLANNING & infrastructure DEVELOPMENT of educational zone, knowledge & economic hub and Urban Park where world class Universities, colleges can be constructed & industries can come up.

DEVELOPMENT of recreational area along the river Sai, (Shaheed Smarak) through Affordable Green, Eco Friendly Tourist Infrastructure.

Rae Bareli aims to become a University town (educational hub) which enhances the quality of life and make the city economically sustainable. With promotion of Rae Bareli to external investment audiences in specific sectors (education, industries) will provide job growth and economic diversification. The projects identified are in line with the vision and goals.
