The girl child today faces inequality and gender based discriminations even before birth. The nation cannot move forward unless women are given opportunity to realize their full potential and contribute to nation building.

Given this context, please share your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and feedback on how we can change the discriminatory social construct in order to celebrate the girl child. What should be our communication strategy for improving the situation and reach out to people?

Why do none of the religious gurus, leaders of all the religions ,not talk about the importance of educating girl child, equality, against discrimination, etc. People hold them with great awe and respect. it will nice if they involve themselves to the cause of social change. People will change if they get involved.

Please check route cause for low Child Sex Ratio. Parents cannot be so cruel to kill their own Girl child. Our society force them to do so. Protecting a Girl from every person in surrounding is one of the major tasks for her parents. Abusing a girl, Dating abuse, Stalking, Kidnapping, Forced prostitution, Acid throwing, Dowry death, Rape and many more violence are common in INDIA against girl. No any parent wll like to give birth to a Girl child in such society where their child will not safe.
