Moradabad is the oldest city of the state of Uttar Pradesh which is called as 'Brass City (Pital Nagri)'. It is a very popular city for its "Brass Artisanship". Moradabad has been selected as one of the 98 Smart Cities under Smart City Mission, MoUD, Govt. of India.

The Municipal Corporation Moradabad urges to the citizens of Moradabad for active participation by suggesting us the changes needed to be done in earlier Smart City Proposal and participating in smart city activities organised by Nagar Nigam Moradabad. For Round-3 Smart City proposal, we are focusing on 'Made in Moradabad" theme and "Making Moradabad- A vibrant & Eco-friendly livable City". Your suggestions will help us to prepare better Smart City Proposal which will help us to make Moradabad a Smart City.

Intelligent Traffic Management with Necessary Infrastructure and Non-Motorize Traffic, Integral Parking Management, Public Transport, Water Management including 24 X 7 Water Supply, anagement, Safety and Security, Sewerage Management, Energy Efficient Street Lighting, Under-Ground Cabling, Solar Roof Tops, Development of Parks with recreational activities, Riverfront Development, Air Quality Monitoring and Management.
