Bhagalpur Municipal Corporation invites citizens of Bhagalpur to be part of this special platform – Smart City Bhagalpur Symposium. It aims to bring new problem solving innovative ideas from the residents of Bhagalpur.

• How the SWM problems of Bhagalpur can be solved
• What should be done so that youth of Bhagalpur can get jobs within the city
• How tourism in Bhagalpur can be increased
• How the silk industry can be revived and what facilities shall be provided to workers
• How the citizen participation can be improved in decision making
• How can Bhagalpur have a unique identity
• How the medical services in city can be improved
• How the education standards in the city can be improved
• What improvements can be made in existing parks
• How the condition of slum dwellers can be improved
• Which municipal services can be made available on Mobiles
• Should rainwater harvesting made compulsory in new buildings
• How the air and water pollution can be reduced in the city
• What should be done to make city more safe and secure for children, woman and old aged people
• What facilities should be provided to street vendors
• How the natural resources like River ganga, ponds, dolphin sanctuary etc can be conserved and make better
• How the awareness regarding traffic rules and cleanliness among citizen can be improved
• How can private auto rickshaw service be made more efficient and organized
• Which part of the city could be pedestrianized with no entry to vehicles
