It is time to convert name of this great nation from India to Bharat. India is a name given by Britishers adopted from english word indigenous. Similarly Hindustan name is given by Muslim rulers. There is no other suitable name than Bharat. It reminds us of our proud heritage. This nation united under Emperor Bharata, son of King Dushyan. Similarly Jain first tirthankar Rishabhdev had two powerful sons. Bhaubali, who renounced earhly pleasures and Bharat, under whose rule nation was unified.
