..used to help improve it, fix it, defend it etc. So far Dr. Rajan has showed resistance to dropping rates on inflation concerns, which have helped us improve our reserve base enormously. But then Chairwomen Yellen in the US has taken opposite steps. So I think a joint Committee might be best where the Central Gov't doesn't only influence monetary policy but perhaps the RBI also influences Fiscal policy as they both are tools that work hand in hand? As I've previously advocated for, we need..

...counted as part of our Central Gov't balance sheet. But I know taxes later on will have to service RBI balance sheet debt. So far we've played it great and able to capitalize on the spread between India and OECD rates so that even when we drop rates a bit...foreign capital flows in to our benefit to increase our forex reserve warchest. Naturally, one would think that it is the Central Gov't, who the people vote for that should be responsible for determining how the Central Gov't's tools are..

...an RBI committee up so that the RBI and the Gov't perhaps share more holistic data and opinions to help better run our nation. I know historically and globally, central banks take pride in their independence and God knows we are blessed to have Dr. Rajan in our corner, but isn't there also danger in having the independence? Good afternoon; I recently read of the increasing cooperation between the RBI and the central Gov't for determining rate gauging targets and I think that's great, considering that we have the Best Central Gov't team and RBI leadership concurrently running, fixing, improving our nation right now; and I hope it stays like this for a long time to undo much lack of relative progress. With that said, I hope our top team doesn't start become even remotely dysfunctional as we try to set.....

Money saved is Money earned. Wasteful expenditure in projects is the curse on Public exchequer. Technocrats, Project professionals and Engineering consultants have to be commissioned to establish a COST Department. Such a Department should take up Roads, Canals, Irrigation projects, Building construction etc and give a directive that the cost per unit should be in the range of this to that. Anything more should attract immediate and automatic scrutiny. All Govt departments and PWD should follow.

Scrap the 1894 Land act and let the land owners decide on dealing with their land. This will reduce corruption and litigation costs for the govt.

Indian Missions abroad costs the our govt. a lot of money. Our mission heads are known to have expensive tastes and spend a fortune in maintaing the embassy, staff, art, craft etc. My suggestion is to outsource the services and ensure austere lifestyle by our mission heads. This will help in saving public expenditure
