Dear Prime Minister Jee......... Namaskar... I live in Mumbai but have been seeing the worst situation of the north indian citizens heading native place during the festive seasons specially in Deepawali and Chath Pooja. In trains they seem to be animals. Even confirmed tickets dont get proper seats. Today one person died even in Delhi. It is noteworthy that people go back home from across the country like Mumbai , Delhi, Banglore, Chennai, etc. Railways has started premium services...

The awarding of contract system based on lowest quote has its own follies. The officers concerned in connivance with the contractors find ways & means to circumvent the laid down system to suit their vested interests. Theses people even compromise with the quality & quantity of such works at the cost of public exchequer leading to lot of inconvenience & public apathy. It is unfortunate that Public money is considered as free flow to be looted both by the Contractors & the so called responsible govt. officials to the detriment of interest of general public besides undue load on the tax payers, who pay taxes on their hard earned income. Drastic steps needs to be taken to plug these loopholes by involving General Public / Panchayats, RWAs, Market Associations & people of integrity / uprightness both in awarding the work contract on broad based Tender System / E tendering, implementation / execution, release of payments & completion of the work. Contractors needs to be educated that it is the public money, which is scare, limited & hard earned. It needs to be sparingly used by rendering quality & quantity of services / supply for their best value of the money released/* spent. The specification for public works needs to be better & higher standard as it is exposed to more risk of use, larger public utilization having exposer for higher wear & tear. There is a serious need to revamp the system of tendering both with regards to quality, quantity & delivery of works with the objective of controlling leakage of revenue, timely delivery & completion of works. The management of left over material, making over of the sidelines of the works undertaken, repair of the damages done during execution of work needs better management & controls. Submitted Just for consideration. K.K.singhal

For running trains railway department uses coal and electricity which is one most imp part of total cost of running railways Suggest to establish such a solar system on all the trains which generates electricity and thereby cost of running coal and electricity can be reduced to large extent.

normally govt, dept. donot have the concept of zero based budgeting. the expediture is hiked on yearly basis without going into merit/ need of the expenditure. Can the civil engineering dept in govt setup be closed because it is den of corruption and instead private companies of repute can take over. the quality of work can be certified by structural engineers who will be held responsible for bad qualityof work. further anything to be purchased in govt office, the demand should come from bottom

Construction and management cost of roads across the country runs into thousands of crores. Kind of corruption that is there at whether in village, towns, cities or metros u can't imagine. To avoid incurring this cost and thereby corruption. Management and construction of roads should be borne by companies and in turn they should be allowed advertisement on such roads of their products.

For LPG the payment sent to bank should be locked for cash withdrawal and this amount can be transferred to oil company directly to their account. So the public won't be disturbed for higher payment. This will help uneducated people . And also this will not give any hinderace to the govt.

I feel strongly that LPG subsidy should be credited in one's account and no. of cylinders should be reduced to 9 from 12. This will greatly help diversion of this subsidised LPG & our precious limited resources. Raising of 9 to 12 was a purely cheap populist move, which didn't fetch any votes.
