Scientific speaking, we can reduce cost of transport by reducing friction. Railway done it in two ways: by aligning coach after one another and by running it on tracks. In my mind we need to exploit this in order to take india next level. Gov of India should make dedicated goods track. General budget should specially aid this. It should be taken as highest priority. Super highway of railway tracks is way to go.

Tax Audit under section 44AB requires not only the Chartered Accountant who only expertise in Accounts but also the Tax Practitioners and Tax Advocates who are well verse with Tax Laws. It is to be noted that section 44AB is not Audit of Account books but in fact it is Audit of compliance of tax provisions. There is difference in audit of compliance of tax provisions and Audit of Accounts. Further permitting only CA for audit U/s. 44AB violate the Competition Act.

Scrutiny proceedings: The scrutiny proceedings, declaration in case of survey, appeals before CIT, revisions are quasi-judicial proceeding. All quasi-judicial proceeding shall be in the format of Open Court. Till today all the quasi-judicial proceeding including appeal before CIT are in closed chambers of the Officer. Most of the quasi-judicial matters are settled in the chamber itself by obliging the officers and accepting the agreed additions by the assesse or his representative.
