On 15th January 2015 I traveled from LLT to Shoranur (Ref PNR 8629764623 in II-AC. Compartment. My RAC tickets were confirmed at 19 Hours and all of us were Senior Citizens had a very uncomfortable journey. The compartment was very contested and dirty. The dust-bin was completely full on both sides of compartment and passengers were forced to throw the litters outside from the running train-much against swatch Bharat. Indian Railway should make the travel more comfortable.

Rly Budget - Do not increase passenger fares. Create a railway insurance, safety & development fund. Charge one re. for every ticket sold & rs.10 for monthly / season tkt. Invest the corpus fund to improve safety, payment to rly accident victims, improve rly facilities, purchase new rakes, modernize etc. This will be a master stroke to raise additional funds without increasing passenger fares.

The public transport system needs a major overhaul to make them easily accessible to the aged and disabled. the steps to enter the buses and trains are not user friendly, nor the way they ply in most of the country. Even in popular train stations there is no indication of where will the reserved coaches be on the platform, resulting in a mad scramble to alight the trains. These are all basic facilities for which people should not be petitioning.

Hello sir this problem is caused mainly due to poor checking systems before entering the railway station. For example chennai central has the worst way of managing people. People enter from different gates to station, so checking is incomplete. Another reason can be due to smoking in Trains, which is prohibited but still some people do smoking in toilets or near to doors which needs to be strictly controlled.

Sir a train which is run between pratapgarh to kanpur central (Train No. 14123), kindly extend it to kasganj junction. If this train will be extend till kasganj then a train which is run between kasganj to kanpur (Train No. 15038) can be remove & only one train can fulfill the requirement of local people & direct connectivity will available between Lucknow To Kasganj.
