However passengers tend to carry inflammable and dangerous materials like firecrackers, petroleum products, explosives etc., resulting in fire accidents and loss of human life.

Suggest solutions for reducing fire accidents due to carrying of inflammable materials by passengers.

It is difficult to constrain/contain entry of such material from stations where frisking of commuters & monitoring / x-ray scan of items is negligible/limited/null. Instances of boarding trains in mid by means of chain pulling is a common practice in almost all rural and semi urban areas, especially at the outskirts of main cities - entry signals. Strict compliance of safety / security norms by RPF strength increasing & awareness among the masses about value of their own life may contribute.

For Clean Platform And Railway Tracks My Suggestion: Sir, To Avoid Toilet Use At Railway Station By Passengers we can install Automatic closer (lid) at the outlet of toilet.it should be closed at the time of Trains are not running.so that fecal matters collect at outlet close lid so fecal will not fall on railway track at that particular station. the close lid should open automatically after two minute starting the train.so the fical matters will fall outside from plateform.

There are rules, and there are lots of rules! What is their meaning if say, you smoke in train or on plateform, and a policeman comes to you. Then after negotiation, he goes away after taking 'his' money? Rules have to be in FORCE. If rules are enforced, nothing has to be done more. Ever wondered why airports are clean? or Why hong kong roads are one of the cleanest (in 2009, approximately 35000 INR was fine to spit on roads)? Rules to be followed, either by agreeing or by force. That is my view

simple and effective. Humans (and specially of India, illiterate and Uddandi), will only learn through discipline. Lots of things are problematic. Fastest solution? Put in place a fine of excess amount. Say 5000/- or more, for carrying flammalbe objects. 90% accidents will stop. Rest 10% will follow soon.

we should spread more awareness to passengers reg. rail journey..the people take it granted and don't care for dos and donts..kyuki koi unhe rokne ya kahne wala nhi hota...kya hum Indians bina kahe koi sahi kam nahi karenge..but now should not wait more..start taking initiative..lets change ourselves for our country.

Railways must optimize the idle time (cleaning&waiting) of rakes of Passenger/Mails/express trains at destinations, before start of next journey. This will reduce turnaround time & improve rakes availability. For eg. Secunderabad-Nagpur SF Express can be be extended to Durg/Gondia. Develop the SC-NGP corridor thro' Adilabad / Karimnagar-Balharshah. This will reduce travel time from NGP to SC, Provide employment & development opportunities in the region, reduce congestion in the NGP-VJA route
